Free QR code generator

Paste a link, get a QR code, download it as PNG or vector SVG. No account, no watermark, and no redirect that could disappear later.

How to use the QR code you just made

Place it where a phone camera can hold still: a poster at chest height, a card, a slide, or a table tent. Keep at least one inch square for hand-held print and three inches for anything read from a few feet away. Leave the white border alone — scanners use it to find the code. Always scan your own proof before a print run.

Running an event instead?

A generic code points at a page you still have to build. InviteFox gives you the page, the RSVP form and the permanent QR code together, so editing the event later never invalidates what you printed.

Questions people ask

Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, needs no account, and adds no watermark or tracking redirect. The code encodes exactly the text or link you typed.
Does the code ever expire?
No. A QR code is a picture of the text you entered, so it works for as long as that link works. Nothing here points through our servers, so there is nothing to switch off.
PNG or SVG — which should I download?
Use PNG for slides, chats and web pages. Use SVG for anything a print shop handles, because it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a banner.
Can I make a QR code that collects RSVPs?
Yes, but not with this tool. Create an event in InviteFox and publish it. You then get a permanent invitation page with its own QR code, and edits to the event never break printed codes.

Need the code to collect replies?

Publish an event and every printed code lands on a live RSVP page.
