Comparison

InviteFox vs Paperless Post

One is a stationery house with a premium catalogue. The other generates the design and charges the organizer a flat monthly rate. The right answer depends on what your event is being judged on.

Pick Paperless Post when…

  • The stationery itself is part of the occasion — a wedding, a gala, a milestone.
  • You want a named designer collection and envelope-style presentation.
  • A per-invitation cost is acceptable because the guest list is fixed and modest.

Pick InviteFox when…

  • You run events repeatedly and want one flat monthly cost, not a per-send bill.
  • The reply matters: party sizes, dietary answers, capacity caps, CSV exports.
  • The invite has to travel by QR code and group chat, not only by email list.
  • You would rather describe the design than shop for it.

The honest trade-off

A curated stationery catalogue gives you certainty about how a card will look before you commit. Generated artwork gives you something nobody else has, and you may need two or three attempts to land it. InviteFox leans into that with a review step: you see the design and the wording before anything is published, and you can upload your own artwork instead at no design cost.

Where InviteFox does not compromise is the guest side. Every published event has a permanent link, a printable QR code and a full RSVP form that guests use without making an account.

Paperless Post is a product of Paperless Post, Inc. and is not affiliated with InviteFox. Pricing and features described are its generally documented model, which its owner may change.

Questions people ask

Does InviteFox charge per guest or per invitation sent?
No. Plans are priced per month for the organizer, and guests are never charged. Paid plans raise how much AI invite artwork and how many print exports you get, not how many people you can invite.
Can InviteFox produce a formal-looking invitation?
Yes. Invite Studio generates original artwork and typography from your description and exports print-ready PNG, JPG or PDF in several sizes, so a formal card is a realistic output.
Can I upload artwork a designer made for us?
Yes. Upload the image, drag and zoom it to place the focal point, and InviteFox renders text inside the safe area. Uploaded artwork does not use AI design credits.
What about a large formal event with limited seats?
Set a capacity limit and an RSVP deadline, ask for party sizes, and export a CSV for the venue. Head counts total adults, children and extra guests separately.
